ANOOK
Bakehouse and Café
Ana helped us find the clarity we were searching for. Not only do we have a clear path to take the next steps for the company, Ana helped Anook grow into something that was blurred before but is no longer.
She is now part of the Anook family.

Project details
There’s a new bakehouse in town!
Amsterdam is full of cute cafes and bakeries. The ones that succeed have a unique twist, or as a brand, a unique value proposition. They know their customers and how to reach them.
My mission was to help Anoōk clarify its brand attributes, strategy, and positioning, and communicate it clearly to its target customers.
-
The fashion industry is over-saturated with new brands that make only brief appearances before going under. Ira had a unique and beautiful concept for her clothing brand.
The challenge was to translate that concept into a unique selling proposition and understand how best to position the brand in the market.
-
We designed the Anoōk visual identity from the ground up, capturing the label’s essence and personality in a logo and brand style guidelines.

Brand Moodboards are a visual encapsulation of the brand’s voice, tone, look, and feel filtered through three prompts - the essence of the Anoōk brand personality.
Having visual reference points focused the conversation and helped me and the client go beyond words and hone in on the preferred visual style and brand identity.
The mood boards and feedback from the session were the starting point for creating the logo and brand collateral.
Brand Moodboard
Section of the Brand Moodboard that helped translate the brand attributes into a clear visual identity. This cohesive visual style is reflected in all touch points from the cafe design, to the menus, or staff uniforms.
